The most important cities of Jamaica are Montego Bay and Kingston. Montego Bay is an important harbour city next to big airport and it has 120.000 inhabitants. There are several monuments to see in Montego bay, like Ruins of fort Montego and the St.James Parish Church. Kingston is the capital of Jamaica and has 937.700 inhabitants. It occupies an area of 480 km2. It’s have lots of parks to see like the Hope gardens and Emancipation Park. Kingston has a central role in Jamaica’s economy because of its big population. In the past, Kingstons name was Port Royal. But when port Royal was destroyed by a earthquake its rebuild and renamed to Kingston.
